I just discovered Danskos last week. Well, I've known about them for a long time. But they were usually beyond my budget. I found this fabulous, fabulous store in nearby Augusta, Georgia called Goody Two Shoes. It's a tiny little store in a crazy obscure BAD neighborhood, and it has really strange hours, but I always heard that I NEEDED to go in there. So I went last week, and gasp! they had Danskos. For super super CHEAP. I got TWO pairs for less than $35 total. My feet love me, and I love my shoes more every time I put them on. I'm a total convert. I wear Birks all summer, and I was lamenting because it's gotten colder and I wasn't looking forward to wearing "closed-in" shoes. Now I don't want to wear anything else.
